Thank You for Participating in the 2nd MIRAI Coloring Contest

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming number of participants in the 2nd MIRAI Coloring Contest.
With over 3,000 registrants from Japan, Malaysia, and Indonesia, our entire team was deeply moved by the individuality and passion poured into each and every submission.

What touched us most was that over 90% of participants included a message along with their artwork.
From the thoughts behind your choice of colors, the healing you experienced through coloring, the joy of spending time with family, to the delight of connecting with others across borders through art—your warm and heartfelt messages truly reminded us of the deeper value of this project.

To all the winners, congratulations!
During the judging process, we were not only impressed by technical skill but also by the emotional depth and unique world expressed through your use of color. We hope this award becomes a meaningful new step in your creative journey.

And to all participants, thank you.
Your colors have already touched the hearts of many. Through this shared experience, we have all witnessed how a single piece of coloring art can connect and transform the world.

I am using this frog theme to present to my little brother. He once lost his favorite frog crochet doll and he had nightmares since then. To prevent my brother to having nightmares, I made a new crochet doll for him. And since then, he has never had a nightmare again. I hope this frog painting can also make my friends from all around the world to not having any nightmares. Can you help me find 14 frogs in my painting?

This artwork represents love in its many forms: passionate, chaotic, and beautiful. The patterns and bold colors show how love is full of energy and emotion, always moving and evolving. The hearts symbolize deep connections between people, while the mix of abstract and organic shapes reflects how love exists in every culture, uniting us despite our differences. Through this piece, I want to show that love is everywhere, even in the most unexpected places.

The theme of this art contest, “ A future filled with love and joy” made me think about hidden picture puzzles. Hidden picture puzzles were my favourite games as a child. What I really like about them was that I truly enjoyed the process of finding pictures in a whole piece of mess. It somehow made me apply this idea to my life. Life is not always perfect or beautiful, it can sometimes be a mess, but to live in a future filled with love and joy, we must learn to find bits of happiness, love and joy in that chaotic world of ours. Therefore, in my piece, you can see different parts and items in every corner. You might be able to see a boat, a cat, a snake, a strawberry and so much more. I really enjoyed drawing and colouring this piece and I hope I can deliver my happiness of finding little things in life to anyone that sees my masterpiece.

Title: Unity in Diversity

Using rainbow colors as elements of composition in the image. These colors are chosen to represent the harmony created through diversity. Several patterns and lines are also added to the image to create a sense of flow and unity, centered around the togetherness symbol of the three nations: Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan.

I can feel love and warmth when I first see MIRAI's drawing in black and white. I try to fill my impression of the drawing with my coloring. The night sky background represents darkness, but in a positive way, because without the dark, we can't appreciate the beautiful lights. Even in life, it is only when we are facing difficulties that we start to appreciate all the small things around us. I added scattered stars as another symbol of hope that comes into our lives, sometimes in unexpected ways. The glowing hearts represent love, warmness and healing, and the use of rainbow colors represents the joy that all children in the world deserve, because childhood is the most important phase in our life. After all, a great childhood provides a strong foundation for being a great adult. I hope my coloring fits the theme 'Coloring Love and Hope' and delivers the intended message.

Every direction of line, combination of colors and decorations that animate each generation's future. I combined this picture with love and imagination in every color. I depict the diversity in this work with the overwriting technique followed by the graffito technique, creating layer after layer that we can develop like a feeling of love/care for the future of this generation. then there is also the pointillist technique that I add to decorate every color, image and feeling, as if to provide support, color the lives and feelings of future generations. logical colors like critical thinking, beautiful decorations like support for their lives, for some reason I want this picture to depict/give meaning to the future of the next generation which influences everything, coating each of their lives with the colors they can see in this picture. I hope this picture can color, provide enlightenment, a happy, successful future and a feeling of future love.
